The Skyline Maintenance Plan Serving Raleigh, Garner, Cary, Apex & Wake Forest in North Carolina

Two Visits a Year, One Flat Price, Zero Guesswork

Skipped maintenance is behind most of the breakdowns we get called out for. Over a season the outdoor coil clogs with dirt and pollen, the drain line backs up in our humidity, and a worn part quietly gets worse, until the system quits on the hottest or coldest day of the year. Our plan puts a stop to that, with two hands-on visits a year, one in spring and one in fall, each timed before the season starts leaning on your system.

The Skyline Difference

A real tune-up, not a look-and-leave

Plenty of companies sell a $20 or $30 “tune-up” and do little more than glance at the system and pack up. That is not maintenance, that is a visit. Ours is hands-on: we clean the coil, flush and treat the drain, check the electrical and the charge, and get into the furnace before winter. You are paying for work that gets done, and for two people who have spent 20+ years knowing what to look for.

The $30 “tune-up”
A look, a filter, and gone

A tech shows up, looks the system over, maybe swaps a filter, and leaves. Nothing is cleaned, flushed, or measured, so the problems that cause July breakdowns are still there.

A Skyline visit
Work that gets done, and written down

We clean the coil, flush and treat the drain, check the electrical and the charge, and get into the furnace before winter. Every reading is logged, so each visit builds on the last.

Why Annual Maintenance Matters

Small, steady upkeep beats a peak-season breakdown every time

Our summers run hot and humid from June into September, and the furnace then sits idle until the first freeze. Both extremes are hard on a system that never gets looked at. Here is what regular care actually buys you.

Fewer surprise breakdowns

Almost everything that strands you in a heat wave is what a scheduled visit catches early, a tired part, a low charge, a blocked drain. Caught on a mild day, it’s a small fix instead of a ruined weekend.

Lower energy bills

A dirty coil, a low charge, or a clogged filter all make the system run longer for the same comfort. Cleaning and dialing those back in pulls the runtime, and the bill, down.

A system that lasts longer

Equipment serviced twice a year tends to reach the far end of its expected life instead of dying early. You paid for the whole system. This is how you get the whole system.

No mid-summer drain shutdown

Clogged condensate drains are the number one thing we get called out for in the Triangle. Flushing the line and treating the pan every spring is the single best way to avoid a shutdown on the hottest day.

A furnace that lights safely all winter

The fall visit cleans the burners and the flame sensor, so your furnace fires on the first cold night instead of leaving you calling around in January.

Your manufacturer’s warranty stays valid

Most equipment warranties require documented yearly maintenance. Skip it, and a denied claim on something like a compressor can cost thousands. We keep that record current.

What We Do on Each Visit

The value of a plan is in what actually happens at the house

Two seasonal visits, each built around the side of your system that is about to work hardest. Here is the work, visit by visit.

The cooling side

Before the first heat wave
  • Clean the outdoor coilA coil packed with pollen and dirt can’t shed heat, so the system runs longer and your bill climbs. Clean, it cools the way it should.
  • Flush the drain line and treat the panThis heads off the clogs and biological growth that back water into the house once our humidity climbs, the most common reason a system shuts off mid-summer.

The heating side

Before the first freeze
  • Adjust the gas pressure and clean the burnersA furnace that burns clean lights on the first try and wastes less fuel doing it.
  • Clean the flame sensorThis is the part that most often makes a furnace start up and then cut right back off. A cleaning keeps it lighting through the cold.

How the Plan Works

Three steps to a system you stop worrying about

1Pick your systems and enroll

The first system is $189 a year, each additional is $129, settled up front so there’s nothing to figure out later.

2We schedule both visits

We book your spring and fall appointments around your week and remind you when each comes due, so a year never quietly slips by.

3You stop thinking about it

We show up on time, do the full tune-up, and log everything, and your discount and priority spot are there the moment you need them.

Members go first

Between visits, you go first

If something acts up between tune-ups, plan members move to the front of the schedule and take 10% off the repair. You are not waiting behind everyone who called that morning.

Front of the line

Members move ahead of the general call list, right when the busy season fills the schedule.

10% off the repair

Parts and labor, on anything that comes up between your two visits.

A team that knows your system

Every reading from your last visit is on file, so we show up with the context to fix it faster.

Financing that fits your budget

Financing through Service Finance can spread a larger repair or a full replacement into monthly payments instead of one upfront hit.

Duke Energy rebates, filed for you

Qualifying high-efficiency systems can earn Duke Energy rebates, and we handle the paperwork on your behalf so you don’t leave money on the table.

$25 for you, $25 for them

Send a neighbor our way and you both come out ahead, a $25 gift card for the referral, and a $25 credit on their first service.

Maintenance Plan FAQs

Quick answers before you enroll

Still have a question? We’d rather you just call and ask.

Call (919) 295-2207
What does the maintenance plan cost per year?

It's $189 for your first system and $129 for each additional one. That covers both visits, priority scheduling, and 10% off repairs.

How many visits does the plan include?

Two a year, a spring visit for your cooling system and a fall visit for your heating system, each timed before that season starts leaning on it.

Is this just a quick inspection?

No. We clean the coil, flush and treat the drain, tune the burners, and check the system top to bottom. It's a hands-on tune-up, not a look-and-leave.

Does the plan help my energy bills?

Yes. A clean coil, a correct charge, and clear airflow let the system reach your set temperature faster, so it runs less and costs less.

Will the plan keep my warranty valid?

It helps. Most manufacturers require documented yearly maintenance, and we keep that record current so a future claim isn't denied over a service gap.

Put your next two visits on the calendar

Enrolling takes one call.

We'll set up your spring and fall appointments, add you to the priority list, and take the guesswork out of keeping your home comfortable through both seasons.
